  Programs

A range of U.S. Government supported programs are currently underway that facilitate international climate technology cooperation.  The U.S.-CTC Gateway defines programs as those efforts which occur over multiple years and encompass more than a single activity or project, and can be global, regional, or focused on a specific partner country.   While some of these programs are designed to specifically to address the issue of global climate change, others are intended to achieve other important environmental and sustainable development goals.  All of the programs contained in this section promote technologies and/or practices that address the issue of global climate change, in addition to providing other related benefits.  In addition to bilateral programs, the U.S. Government supports technology cooperation activities through a number of multilateral programs in partnership with other developed country governments and international institutions.
