Welcome to the U.S. Climate Technology Cooperation Gateway (U.S.-CTC Gateway) web site!

The mission of the U.S.-CTC Gateway is to:

  • Facilitate climate technology cooperation for mitigation and adaptation activities with developing countries and countries in transition consistent with U.S. responsibilities under Article 4, paragraph 5 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC);

  • Provide a current inventory of activities and resources sponsored and supported by the U.S. Government that promote the development and transfer of climate change technologies; and

  • Provide access to relevant and useful information and resources that facilitate the development, deployment, diffusion, and implementation of climate change technologies and practices throughout the world.

The audience for this web site consists of:

  • Government officials, in particular from developing countries and countries in transition; private sector project developers; financiers; technology providers; international governmental organizations (IGOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs); and

  • Interested public worldwide.
